Trading Terms
Please read these terms carefully before enrolling your child.
Child Safety Guidelines
You must escort your child from the car park into the class, sign in on the roll on arrival, and also sign out when collecting your child. Please inform the tutor any time someone else will be collecting your child. We are unable to accommodate parents in the classroom.
Safety & Conduct
- Management reserves the right to exclude any child who is constantly disruptive, does not adhere to programme rules, or poses a risk to themselves or others. Art4Kidz strives to be fair and consistent.
- In the event of an accident or emergency, we will administer appropriate first aid and if necessary call an ambulance. Parents will be contacted immediately. Any urgent medical attention will be at the parents' cost.
- Children will not be transported by private vehicles unless there is a serious emergency (e.g. evacuation due to natural disaster) or when a child has not been collected and needs to be transported to the police station.
- If a child is not collected at the end of class, the tutor will attempt to contact parents and emergency contacts. After one hour, if no contact is made, the child will be transported to North Shore Policing Centre, 52 Parkway Drive, Rosedale (ph. 477-5000, 7am–10pm).
- Please advise us of any medical conditions or special learning needs. All such information will remain confidential.
- Students must arrive at the stated class times. Children who are repeatedly collected late may be excluded. A fee of 0 per half-hour will be charged for late collection. The centre is not responsible for children who arrive early and are left unattended.
- Although all due care will be taken, Art4Kidz will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged possessions children bring to class.
- Each term is a new enrolment. Your child is not automatically re-enrolled. Please re-enrol promptly. Contact us on 022 019 0360 to check dates.
Bookings
To confirm a booked place you must pay in full before the start of the course. Children's class fees cover tuition and all art materials.
Cancellation by Us
If a course is cancelled by Art4Kidz, you will be notified no less than four (4) days before the commencement date for term classes, and no less than two (2) days before the day of class for holiday classes. You may choose to transfer the cost to an alternative course or receive a full refund. Fees cannot be transferred to future terms.
Cancellation by You
No refunds will be given within four (4) days of the commencement date of term classes, or within two (2) days of a school holiday class, unless a replacement enrolment can be secured from a waiting list.
If you cancel more than four (4) days before a term class or more than two (2) days before a holiday class, you are entitled to a full refund or transfer to another class. Fees cannot be transferred to future terms.
Non-Attendance
If your child is unable to attend a class due to illness or personal reasons, no refund will be given for classes missed, and you are not entitled to transfer to another course to make up a missed class.
Class Postponement
In the event of staff illness, we will endeavour to prevent cancellation by providing a substitute tutor. If this is not possible, the class may be postponed at short notice and a replacement class rescheduled. We will make every effort to contact participants as soon as possible.
Disclaimer
We will make every effort to ensure all courses proceed as advertised. However, all courses are subject to minimum enrolment numbers. We reserve the right to cancel any course where minimum numbers are not reached, and to make minor modifications to course content without prior notice, without compromising overall quality.
